Reaching Your Campsite in Suryanelli

By Air: The closest airport is Cochin International Airport (COK), approximately 110-120 kilometers away. Hire a taxi or take public transport from the airport to Munnar.

By Train: The nearest railway station is Aluva Railway Station, about 110 kilometers from Munnar. Taxis and buses are available from Aluva to Munnar.

By Bus: Munnar is well-connected by road, with buses running from major cities in Kerala and neighboring states.

Remember: Munnar does not have its own railway station or airport. The final part of your journey will involve road travel.

Shared Jeep: Hop on a shared jeep from Munnar Junction to Suryanelli for 100 rupees per person. Jeeps are available from 8 AM to 3 PM. We'll pick you up from Suryanelli and bring you to the campsite.

Bus & Auto: Take a bus from Munnar to Power House Junction (38 rupees), then transfer to a shared auto to Suryanelli (40 rupees). We'll pick you up from Suryanelli and take you to the campsite.

Direct Bus: While less frequent, direct buses operate between Munnar and Suryanelli. Check the schedule at the Munnar KSRTC stand for timings.

Yes, we have been operating the campsite for the past 5 years without any incidents of wild animal encounters. The campsite is fenced, preventing animals from entering.
Is the tent stay safe from wild animals ?

Even in heavy rain, our campsite remains comfortable. The tents are waterproof, and the water drains quickly due to the hilly terrain.
What if it rains?

Dinner: Ghee rice, chapatti, chicken curry (for non-vegetarians), vegetable curry (for vegetarians), and salad. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions in advance. Barbecue chicken is also available.
